Well Met!

I am the SpiderWitch…

  • .

I earned the name ‘Spiderwitch’ in my mid-teens from a witchy friend who asked my to help her work through a spell… to brainstorm all of our ideas I drew a spider-diagram - she’d never seen one before and when I told her what it was called she dubbed me SpiderWitch…

I have been working with Witchcraft and it’s associated practices for over 15 years, in that time learning a varied skill set.  My focus for many years has been Dream Analysis, so much so I have decided it is to be the subject of my first book, currently a work in progress.  I also read Tarot, advise on individual spell-work, lead celebratory ritual, use & teach colour magic, candle magic, practical spellcraft, divination, meditation and  I also work with Dragon energy…

My academic background is in psychology & literature, and my occupational background covers operational management, retail, & teaching.  I am now very proud to be able to say I am a full-time Witch and you can find me most days in the Victoria Centre Market; Nottingham on the SpellCrafters stall.

For the record… I am NOT a psychic, or a medium, I don’t communicate with spirits, spirit guides, elves, fae, Elvis, dead relatives or angels.  I am a Pagan Witch; paganism is my religion and witchcraft is my practise of that faith.  All the services I offer are based on my beliefs, experience and study, and I like to think that I ply my trade with common sense and good humour.  If you have any questions, theories, doubts or debate please get in touch…

oraclesI have been reading the Tarot since I was 18yrs, my first deck was given to me by my father; a Marseilles deck with a book of descriptions.  I learned to read the cards, and playing cards too but did not give it much study until 5 years ago when I felt the time was right to step up the intensity of my study with a view to professional reading.

My husband bought me the deck I read with now, a striking contemporary deck by Londa.  I have positive feedback and gain recommendations from my clients, that I give more in my readings than just a string of riddles, they take away proactive objectives to work towards solutions and an uplifting burden-releasing calm.

I believe that Tarot is a means of externalising your inner motives and objectively assessing them, the process is more beneficial if the client is able to connect personally with the spread and work with me (though I don’t ask leading questions…!) through the reading as some cards have dual meanings and depending on your situation or ‘question’ may have an impact on the meanings of subsequent cards.

taorttalk1I have been a bar-maid, a waitress, a receptionist, a lighting technician, a playworker, a pupil support assistant in a special needs school and a retail manager for a busy London tourist attraction.  But I AM a Witch.  It took me a long time to accept that this was the most important thing to me and I am very proud to be able to say that this is my full-time work.

In more recent years I have begun running workshops and talks on many magical practices.  For centuries witches have looked to nature to reclaim the balance of energies.  Witchcraft releases natural innate energies to realign the balance and promote positive energies in our environment.  On a more personal level I work with my Dragon energy as a means of empowerment and hold mordern eclectic Pagan beliefs

Also, I am a musician, writer, artist and jewellery designer. I am obsessed with stationery & tupperware/storage and live with my husband and our cat Loki; we are both members of Black Pig Border Morris Side, and I belly dance with Shimmy Armageddon.

Blessed Be!
